greasy pizza lazy service
The pizza was not a highlight of my stay. It arrived swimming in grease, i swear. Seriously, it could have floated across the channel. the staff didn't bother to cut the pizza before serving it. How lazy!

rustic charm and excellent service

roll-top bath modern shower comfy bed excellent service
the room featured a roll-top bath and a modern shower room, a comfy bed included quality bedding ensured a restful night. i visited the pub upon arrival and appreciated the excellent service i received from kieran. staff allowed us to use a reserved table by the open fire while we enjoyed our drinks, which i found accommodating.
the lack of readily available toast and a continental table at breakfast was a minor drawback (i was looking forward to some pastries).

excellent overnight stay

great shower friendly staff delicious breakfast coffee facilities
the room offered excellent tea and coffee. a great shower was available and toiletries were provided. i found the staff really friendly and helpful. the breakfast included in my stay was delicious and a great start to my day.
the bar was closed during the day so getting a drink before an event was impossible
